Finding outlets to release business stress
I understand firefighters are required to have a certain number of mandatory hours off after a shift. It's supposed to be partly due to the stresses of the job. I think downtime is a wonderful concept and should be adapted to business owners as well. For me, I've begun cultivating a rather humble vegetable garden in the patio behind my office. It doesn't require much time and I have begun to look forward to the time I spent watering and monitoring the garden's progress. It doesn't have to be expensive but finding a "downtime" activity may actually help reduce your stress and potentially increase your productivity.
