How to increase your productivity in business
How can you do more in less time? That's a constant thought in my head. Over time, I've learned a few things on increasing productivity. Some are simpler than others. They are:
Wearing a watch - You'd be surprised how much time you waste when you aren't paying attention to the "little breaks" you take throughout the day. A few minutes chatting over the phone, some personal surfing of the web and it does begin to add up.
Better tools/equipment - Buying tools/equipment which help to reduce the amount of time it takes to get work done. I've done my share of getting by purchases. Over the long haul, it's probably better to buy the stuff which gives you the best productivity return for your dollar.
Get rest - I can't stress this one enough. I've burned my share of late night sessions. You can do it for a short period of time but eventually you just can't maintain the pace. You need rest to recharge your batteries and sufficient sleep.
There are certainly many more areas to consider which help to increase your productivity. The more you look, the more you'll find.
