What's it like to be a business owner?
I work with many small business owners. Pretty much every owner I've spoken with said they prefer being self employed to working for someone else. The ability to have control of your own destiny, to set your own hours, to have no ceiling to how much you want to make is great. The down side is you'll spend far more hours working your own business than you ever did working for someone else.
Does working more hours bother me? At times yes. For the majority of the time, no. When you work for yourself, it doesn't feel like work. In addition, you know what's going on rather than being in the dark as to what your employer plans for you.
I am a CPA in San Antonio and provide bookkeeping, payroll, taxes and more. We offer a free initial visit and look forward to serve your business needs.
