In business, plan for the worst but hope for the best
Sometime between 6AM and 9AM two planters were unlawfully removed from the front of my office building. They weren't very expensive and the sun had begun to bleach them. I was already planning on replacing them but someone has taken care of half of my original plan.
That's how it goes in business, people can and do take things which don't belong to them. Whether it's salt and pepper shakers in a restaurant, the counter pen at a bank or two inexpensive planters from a small business operator, you plan for theft.
How do I feel about it? I don't know, I suppose I'll leave it up to karma. Whenever I'd done something wrong, it seemed like something even worse would happen to me. I guess I'll let karma handle it. It's time to plan for the next worst thing and move forward.
