Adopting best practices in your business

If you've had the opportunity to work in a few businesses, you've probably picked up processes which worked well and some that didn't.  Once you open your own business, it's important to put into practice what you learned on the job from the companies you formerly worked for.

It doesn't matter if you worked in different industries.  The important thing is to glean what you can on how to do things more productively and use it in your own firm.  After all, you already had the opportunity to see how well those things worked.
